Brake Lights not working!
For the last couple of days I was noticing alot of people tailgateing me. I kept wondering why until an young man pulled up to me and told me that my brake lights are not working. It COULD by a burned bulb but i doubt that both would burn at the same time. Any ideas?

Afyer you check any burnt-out fuses and bulbs poke your head in the pedal well and look at the brake light kill switch on the break pedal. The problem that occurs here is usally the reverse i.e. -brake lights stay ON- but maybe that is how it started leading to a burn out.
NB: I don't yet own an S2000 so can't be sure they use this method.
Hope this helps.

Both brake lights and the high mount brake light are wired in parallel. However, the two rear lights have a common ground, while the high mount light has a seperate ground. If the high mount light works O.K., then you must have lost your ground to the two brake lights (black wire). If all three lights don't work, the problem must be 1) the brake foot switch; 2) fuse 47 (under hood fuse box); or 3) the wiring between these. If the switch is defective (the contacts stay open), then the horn will work O.K., but (besides no brake lights) you also won't have power to the ABS, ECM or Cruise Control Unit. If the foot brake switch is O.K. but the fuse has blown, then the horn won't work (along with none of the brake lights, ABS, ECM and CCU).
Do this simple elimination check. You should be able to determine the problem in 2 seconds.

I have been through the checklist and have determined that my 3 rear brake lights are not working, but my horn works. Also, my cruise control does not work. It seems to be the brake pedal switch. How do I fix this?
