Brake Fluid

Brake Fluid
I am going to track my 2000 S and I was wondering what the best brake fluid to use is? I know ATE Super Blue is good but is there any others that would do the job as well?

Motul 600 is another good one, but more expensive than ATE.
You can also use Valvoline "ABS" Dot 3/4 Brake Fluid, which is less money and more readily available.
Whatever you choose, you would do well to change out the fluid again after the track day.

From pretty extensive racing experience, we (sponsored race team) have run ATE Superblue and ELF 650 without issue under california summer temps where water temps reached 265 degrees (SR20). A few dollars buys a lot of insurance. Make sure that you do a good bleed before tracking. The difference between a poor and good bleed is tremendous at the track.

ATE superblue is a bit better than MOTUL. I have both in my garage, and like ATE better. It seems to hold up longer. MOTUL holds a few degrees more, but this isnt something youll see on anything other than a tight track. ATE is better for street, MOTUL is a bit better for heavy duty tracking.
