Aston-Martins are the worst. I used to detail a Vanquish and a Vantage and they were both awful. For that kind of money they should use better pads.

Some have said that the AP1's dont bite as hard. Is that correct? Also do they dust at all? The ceramics dont seem to dust at all on my car.

I bought the Centric Posi -Quiets. They do take a min or so to warm up but after that they bite great. I only have a few hunderd miles on them and they seem to get better with each drive. I switched to cross drilled/slotted roters at the same time so both are still breaking in. I think I paid about 70.00 for the full set of pads on ebay.

AP1's are great for the street, and very little dust. No worries about bite. I swap out to race pads for the track.

Bump for info regarding Posi Quiet brake pads. Anyone have experience? Looking at getting some pads and rotors shortly.

Ceramics stop better and actually dust less (technically the dust is not as visible). They chew up rotors quickly, but rotor blanks are cheap.
