Default brake dust more on the front

i know the brakes in the front perform more of the stopping but the amount of brake dust is much thicker on the front. is this why? is there anything that can be done to cut down on this? the damn car looks dirty three days later.

Only thing you can do is wash it off. I have always either waxed or (now) Zaino'ed the wheels after I throroughly wash them. This makes it harder for the dust to stick. You might want to ask the wacko's in the wash and wax area. They probably have better advice.

Most of your stopping power comes from the front brakes. Thats why they are physically larger and create more dust.

Um, yeah. Drive slower and use your brakes less.

I'm not normally a smart ass, but I couldn't resist. The site is dead tonight.

Of course it's dead tonight. It's a friday. It's only 8:50, so it's not too late to go out!
