If you had pads that lasted 60K miles I'm assuming your last 20K miles were metal on metal in which there would be no dust.

Actually, the pads still had about 1/4cm of 'pad' left. And in all honesty, I can recall reading about several board members whose pads lasted for 50-60000 miles or more. When I drive, I do not ride the brakes, I attempt to engine brake (downshift) when possible. How long did your pads last? Just curious...

I have to chime in with Honda 224 GTS here. Use your powertrain twice as much (up and down) expect it to last half as long. Your mileage may vary.

As for the Harleys, keeps the posers from stalling them and looking stooooooopid.

This car produces the least amount of wheel dust on any car I've owned. Strange since I stomp pn them a lot! Must be something in the pads.
