bracket required for front license plate install?
I just got a ticket for no front plate and I bought the car like that (with plugs already in). I've been reading around and it seems like there's some sort of license plate bracket that is used for mounting. Is this required, or can I just screw on the plate to the bumper?
Also, is the bracket the same as a license plate frame? (if so, I have a few of these lying around i can try slap on)

I just bought mine a few weeks ago and went to a auto parts store and had a simialr situation (got out of a ticket however)
Anyhow, go to a autoparts store and they are 5 bucks or so for a unitversal black back bracket....just pop out the screw hole covers. Looks nice and holds the plate well. I tried just the plate first but thought it looked crappy.
Hope this helps.....later.

in the situation that you DON'T fix it and just pay it off:
parking ticket - $40 ish
acutally being pulled over for it- $164 (ass hole cop pulled me over on valentines day right after pulling over an accord for the same thing apparently)

When I go in for an inspection I just screw it into the holes quick. Isn't the prettiest but it works for a sticker.
There is the Ricks bracket, or an OEM one. Your call.

There are 2 sets of threaded holes in the bumper - you can use plate bolts to put it directly into the bumper, or you can get the bracket.
I have mine directly in the bumper - no bracket.
