Ive had the car a month, and it's starting to bore me, i suppose the British weather has something to do with it!

or maybe that it isnt fast enough, why o why couldnt honda have made it a 2.2 or a 2.5!

Why does my old mini handle better?

Why does black scratch to easy!

Why does is sound SOOOOO bad at 3000rpm

BUT THE CHICKS DIG IT!

Hell NOOO!!!

I just drove the car this morning to work, and was thinking to myself, "Wow, I love this car. . .it exhilirates me even after almost a year's worth of ownership and alot of driving"

In fact, my drive to work is usually pretty boring: stop and go for about 25 miles with alot of traffic, and no chance of going over 50mph the whole route.

Even with boring driving conditions, the S2K still [red]"moves"[/red] me. I just can't wait 'till the summer where I can start doing more weekend highway driving, and maybe join the group of guys that hits Gingermann raceway every week.

Taking these in order:

1) It's not at 2.2 or 2.5 for the same reason that it's not a 3.3 or a 4.6 -- because it isn't.

2)Your mini handles better for the same reason that RC cars handle better -- it's small and low to the ground.

3) Black scratches easily because it can't hide the light that reflects off the scratched clear coat. This is not unique to s2000's.

4) How does it sound bad at 3000rpm? It sounds pretty normal at 3000rpms to me.

5) Yes, chicks dig it, but they don't dig whining complainers.

Hey, Sunchild is in a GOOD mood for once. I thought he was really gonna go off!

Kind sir, I recommend you sell your S2000 at once and find something more to your liking.

are you serious? I've had mine for over a year now and when i drive to work in the morning, I still think, "Damn I love driving this car!" Even a casual drive to lunch is relaxing and puts a smile on my face! If your car sounds bad at 3000, maybe it needs to be looked at, as the 3000-4000 rpm decelleration noise is covered by warranty. I had my clutchplate replced and it sounds great now!
If you still are bored with the car, please sell it immediately so someone else can enjoy the car. Happy motoring!

It's nice to get a reply from you all.

Thanks for you comments...

Actually the car is pretty cool, I just wondered what kind of a response I would get from all the uptight people, seemd to have hit a few raw nerves )

Thanks sunchild for your comments, what u said is true and pretty much anyone with 2 brain cells could have answered them like that.

Maybe :
1) Because they couldn't be arsed, or even that it would have removed some of the appeal of the NSX? Its a shame though, you got to admit it's pretty poor below 5kRPM.

2)Your mini handles better cause it's wicked! And the S2000 isnt really suited to the crap British roads.

3) Most paint scratches easier nowadays as I think we have to use water based paints(not solvent based), BLOODY ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY! Black is hell, but sure looks nice when its at it's best.

4) It sounds bad at 3000rpm because the exhaust is tuned for higher revs...maybe

5) Yes, chicks dig it, but they don't dig whining complainers... PHEW AT LEAST I HAVE SOMETHING TO KEEP THEM OFF MY BACK, MY HUNCHED BACK AND SWEATY ARMPITS DIDNT SEEM TO BE WORKING!
