There I was, cruising down the highway yesterday, minding my own business when a young man came up on my six in a black BMW. He was boxed in by traffic, so he couldn't pass. The driver was quite anxious to get by and was telling me so in no uncertain terms. This on-my-ass activity could not go unanswered, so I dropped down to third, recapturing both VTEC and my youth in one throttle smash. Well, the little blond Hitler youth started honking at me as I slowly pulled away. As my litttle red rocket sailed through 100 on the old digital, I switched lanes and backed down to a more reasonble speed. The kid sailed by me (he must have been from Florida because I think he said something about sunny beaches) and I just gave him a friendly wave.
The next thing I saw was the DPS car perched on the hill to the right. He must have gotten radar on the Bimmer, but couldn't pounce because of the traffic flow. I continued on my merry way, nestled in the shadow of a semi, safe from the terror of microwave radiation.

I think it was a 3-series, probably a 2.8 liter. Don't they have like 189 hp? Had I wanted, I'm sure I could have left him far behind, but at my own peril due to the radar.
