Default Blue lipped S2000 wheel?

Posting here (as opposed to the T&W forum) because I want maximum exposure and I already know enough S2000 tire/wheel FAQ's than I care to remember so this is just a poll for opinions on the custom painted ROH wheel itself.

I have always liked wheels with painted lips but usually only with black centers, such as this find. I realize many do not (too bling bling) but I'm more or less
trying to gauge how it would look against the suzuka.

Thanks!

I think it'd look great with the right shade, but that particular one looks too purple to me - I think it'd clash pretty bad with Suzuka Blue.

oooh thats tight. red lip would look nice too. i think the black color should be a little more flat. like the mugen rnr's.

Hard to say 'cause the blue color (as the dealer said) didn't come out good in the pic. He said it's darker. It's also NOT anodized, rather painted. I'm not sure if the black is flat but probably not, I think it's gloss. TONS of brake clearance though, I do know that. I think I'm gonna jump on 'em 'cause if they don't work, I can sell 'em on EBay to any 5x114.3 owner and AT LEAST get my cash back. Matching anything to this funky suzuka color might be almost impossible unless I actually custom paint 'em using the color code. My Spyder had color-lipped wheels and they always got a thumbs-up from folks. Thought it might look good with the S2000 but we'll see.
Thanks for the inputs guys!

I recall SSR and Enkei use to make those J sepc wheels. Those were the old school jdm look. I tried both companies sites and they are no longer there. I suggest find a wheel you like and powder coat the lip yourself.

Crow, that might be the wise choice. I'm wondering how much it would cost a paint shop to paint the lip of four wheels...probably $400.
Would definitely guarantee a good color match though.

I suggest power coast over paint. $400 bucks is about right. But choosing the right color to match out body color is the tough part. I am sure there is one good for us.
