Blind Spot!
#1
Has anyone noticed that the driver side has a serious blind spot when the roof is up. Now, if the top is down, its no problem. But if the roof is up, then you really need to look out. Several times I glance over and see nothing. I start to move over and ouch, there is another car. You really have to watch out. I tried moving my driver side mirror over as much as possible to try to reduce this problem. Any thoughts? GaToR

There is a simple fix to the mirror that eliminates the blind spot completely. You'll need two screws and some washers. It takes about 20 minutes. Find directions at https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_mirror.php.

I bought a small wedge blind spot mirror at a local auto store for $1.50 and stuck it on my driver side mirror. It doesnt take up much room (1"x1.5"). If placed at the top of the mirror, it gives you plenty of side mirror to see behind you and the wedge shows you what is in your blind spot. I would do the same on the passenger side, but the blind spot over ther is smaller and I can cope with it.

I find that a little acceleration before passing will remove any loafers from your blind spot. Pay attention and plan ahead! If you're too busy talking on the phone or applying make-up to know who's around you, then you need to put a rubber band around your neck and snap out of it. This car is for driving, not commuting. No flames intended.
