I have to agree!
I just think the OEM hardtop looks like a waste in black.

Thanks for the poll Ben! Im sure others have asked you but I think your hardtop looks sweet. Right now my plans are to paint just as the model that is shown with the b pillars left black. I will also leave the windshield tape on as I LIKE it . Also Im going to post a pic below of the rims that are on the car.. Not trying to go OT but just wondering if anyone thinks the silver of the wheels will look bad with the hardtop painted silverstone and the b pillars painted black?

You can see in strong light the wheels look lighter than the silverstone, in dark light the wheels look darker than silverstone. In some light they look exactly the same color as the car.
Do you guys think it would look weird with the top painted as the model above?

ccarnel, that'd look great. Just out of curiosity, do u mind telling me the specs of those wheels (17" or 18", widths, offsets & weights)?

S2k_fever, check w/R&D M/S. It should be anyday now. It doesn't help w/the west port strike that finally ended (By court order). I know of one persons' Mugen hardtop delayed b/c of that.

Honda Guy. Ill get back to you this evening with the offsets..

S2k fever... Have you called David? Maybe someone should

Jdms2000... I love the way the black hardtop looks on your car but a bodykit? hmmmm is it functional.. I'm not trying to knock on your car but I drive mine fairly hard.. I think a bodykit would pretty much get torn off ... besides 3000-4000 for a painted bodykit or... mmmm turbooooo

I think your plan will work great, ccarnel. I think the black on the b pillars will offset the silver top nicely, and the wheels will also look great -- as of course the black in the tires and b pillars offset those -- in other words, not too much of one color works. On the other q, I like the black on red as it is a great contrast. Contrast is what does it for me, personally.

All look great, though -- to each his own!

Steve

I actually would raise the car to track. Your absolutely right. It would come clear off. Its fine though for day to day driving at that height..
