Bitten by the S bug o' doom!

I know how you feel. My one year ownership annerversiary is coming up in 3 days (Nov 4th) Since I test drove it late in September last year, I could not stop imaging myself owning one. Each day at work I would take the long route to the restroom just so I could walk by the windows and look down from the forth floor of the building I worked at and look over into the next corporate parking lot across the street to see two S2000s parked out there. I visited S2ki frequently and read and read until I couldn't take it anymore and decided that I knew work was going to be consistent (I do contracting jobs as a consultant so I was nervous about steady income) and I bit the bug and decided to reward myself with a 2 Seater Roadster that was all mine and what I worked hard everyday for and the long hours of college late nights, no sleep, exam cramming overloaded course hours, summer classes etc just so I could make some money when I graduate and it was going to be used here! I felt I deserved to get this car.
If you have gotten this much exposer to feel this way, GET the car! YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

I had to wait 5 years before getting mine, and I couldn't be happier. Absence makes the heart grow fonder after all..
Enjoy it, I know you will.
(ps: Throw away all the autotrader pages with those clown colors - s2k sex comes in black )

I know how you feel man! Unlike others I've read about, my parents arent about to drop a years worth of college tuition onto a car for me, so its all on my shoulders, just like the first/current car I have now! (I'm 20 years old)
I was 17 years old when I laid out $8500 for the car I have now, a 2000 Grand Prix GT, red coupe with a sunroof, the nicer wheels, car alarm, 50k miles on it. Trust me, I'm damn proud of the car since I was the one that bought it, however, I'm wanting something different/newer, and the S2000 has definitely caught my eye!
Once I can find a job to have ontop of the one I've already got, and I can get some more income rolling through to pay for car payments and insurance, and once I can sell my current car, it will be mine!!
Good luck to you on your quest for an S2000! Wish me luck on mine
Adam

Good attitude you have, Adam. Hard work and pesistence WILL pay off. It pays off more for some than for others, but regardless, you will always be better off for it. Even if your parents could drop a year's worth of tuition on a car for you (and quite likely they could), you are probably better off they didn't.
You'll get that car, dude. I'm sure of it. Eye on the prize, young brother, eye on the prize.
