a bird crapped on my top. whats the easiest way to clean it? i tried to use some cleaners but none really worked. i sprayed it with water and that helped but it took forever. does any body know any cleaners that work really well on our tops to get stuff off them? thanks a lot for the help

I've always just taken a hose to it (to get off the gross stuff) and then soapy water with my wash mit. It seem to work for me.

NEVER use the Meguiars Extreme/Ultra heavy duty Vinyl cleaner on the roof (it's in a purple spray bottle). It will stain your roof worse than the bird crap did!!

I believe that Porsche makes a convertible roof cleaner kit but that may only be for fabric roofs. I believe we have vinyl. I'd just go the car wash solution and water route (*don;t rub/scrub too hard) and then use '303 Protectant' on the roof to keep it from fading.

You could also ask the dealer what they'd use.

Just use some saliva and some tissue. Mommas use it on their babies, why don't we use it on ours? hehe j/k...

its a vinyl top. just wash it with soap and clean off with towel as soon as possible so should not affect the coloration.
