Thumbs up Bilstein PSS9

Someone on an old thread posted that the PSS9 system's height adjustability in NOT independent of the spring load. Some user's even mention that when they lower the car, it gets bumpy, and when they raise the car, it gets softer...which indicates to me that the PSS9 system's height adjustability is NOT independent of spring weight.

However, others mention that the PSS9's height adjustability IS independent of spring weight.
So my question is, how do I find out for sure?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

The PSS9 only has a bottom spring perch height adjustment. To be truly independent you need an additional adjustment at the bottom of the strut... then you can use the bottom spring perch to preload the spring, and the bottom strut adjustment to adjust the ride height.
