Default Bilstein PSS vs. Spring shock combos

I was wondering compared to the pss would the combo of the rsr ti2000/koni yellows be any good (is it a good setup/is it worth it) the koni's as you know come with lifetime and so do the rsr ti2000's is it worth the money? would it be close to a real coilover experience.... if anyone knows please let me know.... thanks

The problem with any coil/spring DIY mix-and-match combo is that the shock valving is not matched to the spring rates as they should be in a complete coilover setup from one manufacturer.

Get the Koni's with the Ground Control adjustable springs. You can get whatever spring rate you want so they match the shocks. They are made by Eibach and I think have a lifetime warranty. But if the Blisstins have a remote resevior for the rears I would get those.

I would be very happy with the PSS9s. A buddy had them on this VW Corrado and it rides real nice; all adjustable too as far as dampening and height. Depending on the kit; H&R's only come height adjustable until recently. Not sure if they have dampening adjustables for the S2K.

I was looking at the whole adj spring/shock combo and found PSS9s were only a couple of hundred more so I'm deciding to go with the PSS9s.

Good luck!

Instead of mixing and matching, you should get an entire coilover system. I use Bilstein coilovers on my M3, top notch product, highly recommended.

Are you talking about the PSS's or the PSS9's?
