Default Big Question about AEM!

My S have just hydrolock from standing outside during heavyrain. This all happened because I just installed the AEM V2 CAI and the filter got VERY wet and also accumulate like a gallon of water, all this because of the drainhole.

My question:

Has anybody that have installed a AEM V2 CAI claimed responsibility or liability toward the company??? Came with this question since in the instrucions there's not a Warning about this problem.

Thanks

You're screwed. I think you need to look at the instructions more closely...

I believe they offer the bypass valve for this reason. Hard to say there is not a warning. And I'm pretty sure there is something in the instructions since I just did an install Monday night. That's why I said to look again...

I wish I still had the packaging for the V2, but it does indeed very clearly state that they are not liable for you hydrolocking your engine, and that if you feel it is a risk, to return the V2 to the retailer and purchase a V1 with bypass valve instead.
