I feel that the steering wheel and the center console prevent me from rotating my leg to do any other method than the ball of foot on brake and small toes bliping the gas.

Im 6'3" 14 shoe I heel toe just like normal people do but, like some one stated earlier its easier to learn and do under higher conditions

On the other end of the spectrum, I'm 4'10" and have a size 7.5 shoe. Also "heel-toe" with the ball of my foot on the brake and get the throttle with the right side of my foot. Honestly, I think that my legs are too short to sit at a comfortable distance and actually reach the brake with my heel.

I guess I can see how having feet that are small could make it dificult but I still think the main issue is people arent pushing the brake down hard enough. Heel toe is for serious driving not crusing waterfront.

when i said i was trying it at low speeds, i meant coming up to a corner at 45-50, that should be at 15-20 and hitting the brake hard and late, that way it acctually simulated it a little

5'10 and size 14. I can heel toe just fine, unless I'm wearing my combat boots.
