Default Best way to get out of a lease???

Baby on the way, need a new MDX. Anyone know the best way to get out of a lease early?

Do you think that an acura dealer would be interested in buying it out if I was getting intoa new MDX?

Thanks..

Read the fine print. It will all be there. I'm sure it happens all the time.

You might check with the bank holding the title to see what the payoff on your '01 is. You're probably "upside-down" (you owe more than it's worth); however, at least you'll know how close you'll be to a deal on the MDX. It never hurts to try.

get the payoff.. then try to sell it to someone for as close as you can to that number - i still had 2 yrs on my celica lease, and sold it to a kid in NY for close to my payoff; i walked away nearly scot-free. i paid the $500 difference, and bought my s2k. your mileage may vary.
