I guess my comment about "hearing" that they're good is a bit confusing, though, so I'll give you that much.

You're 100% correct about cars being different, and tire characteristics thusly changing from car to car. I did know what you meant by tire ratings... those are what I was referring to, as well. (The colored charts, for example, that TireRack has.) They give a relative idea as to what a tire's performance gave in a few situations, but obviously can't be entirely accurate or objective.

Anyway, I know a few people here have Azenis tires, dammit. I saw 'em, I swear.

Was told that going to 215-50r 16 front & 225-45R 16 rear Michlein Sport was the best way to go

 

Aren't the rears actually a 245 though, if compared to other tires that are 245?
I thought that was the whole debate...
