Once again we have a case of someone spouting off about something they know little to nothing about.
Is everyone that drives an S2k a jackazz? The guy was just stating that he HEARD they werent good in the rain. No reason for you to be a turd. People here are getting the Vette owner attitude.

That may be true but it's more annoying to hear people constantly whining on here. People have opinions and that's exactly what they are and thats why this place is here. They may not be 100% accurate but they are contributing and being friendly and helpful. Take it or leave it. Many people here need to chill out and enjoy this place. There are people that dont know what they are talking about and they may need to be educated. Bitchin' and moanin' isn't going to make things better.

I personally like Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s because they are cheap, last longer, and seem to work as well as the stock S02s for what I do with them. That is my opinion but I am sure someone is thinking "NO you are wrong moron! Kumhos suck!". Do I care? Nope. I don't even give my opinon anymore because of this. I could prove that the Kumhos netted me better track times but people would still call me out on it. Why bother anymore?

Falken Azenis are perfectly fine in the rain - as good as any other summer tire I've driven on.

Kumho makes a tire that is street legal, but barely,
Is that the Victoracer you are talking about? I had a worn pair of the Victos on the rear of my S before I got the Kumhos. I bought them dirt cheap used at Discount Tire. They are basically slicks. Holly crap they were awesome in the dry. I had to drive to Elkhart, IN. in the rain one day and was scared sh!tless with them. The rear end drifted all over the place just going straight. I stopped at the Tire Rack in South Bend and got the Ecsta Supras. What a relief to drive on the new Kumhos in the rain after those racing tires. If my car ever becomes a Sunday driver I will definitely run something like the Victoracers.
