Bought my baby on Dec 27 2003 Christmass present to me I got a great buy and two years later I am still NOT upside down on my loan
Tis the season to buy an S....Good luck

This is incorrect. They pay inventory taxes sometime at the end of either February or March.

Such taxes are generally due by April 15th but they are calculated for inventory in stock at the turn of the year. At least that's how it was when I worked in the auto industry. Of course, that was 25 years ago so maybe things have changed.

I asked my dad about it (he works for H&R Block) and he said it's different from income taxes, and it's not calculated on inventory on January 1.

Yes they are cheaper, but the problem is the selection is not near what it is in the summer. If you are looking for something in particular [like finding a very cheap car or a white 2003 with xx,000 miles or so you may be more successful in the spring/summer.
