Default Best place to buy OEM Hard Top

Im looking to get an OEM Hardtop, and Im kinda iffy about ordering from Hard Top guy right now due to the responses of people on this forum having a hard time reaching him. I check with my local dealership in omaha and they say ~3400$, which sounds way too high. Does anyone know of a good dealer to buy one from?

THanks for all your help.

Have you actually tried contacting him yourself?

Many others have. Hard to justify a several thousand dollar purchase from a dealer with a jaded reputation as of late.

For $3400 a retailer better have a perfect reputation. HTG's rep is far from perfect these days.

yeah Ill give majestic a shot. Lol I look in the for sale section just about every day, I finally decided on OEM cause I didnt want to deal with filiment problems and in my opinion, other than the ASM one, it looks the most complete. Plus a rear defroster is a must in Omaha.

While I have heard of some of the experiences, I know for a fact he just flew out to California to deliver/install a top. I'm sure all companies do that though, right? We have three folks looking to get tops in our area. If the customers actually purchase, he'll be delivering/installing all three at my house.

All I asked was if the OP actually tried to make contact or not. I've found going by hearsay on the internet doesn't always pan out. What's the worst that could happen? He couldn't get hold of him?
