Do you guys think that the difference between the old and the new S2K is as great as the video makes it out to be or were those guys playing around a little. The difference between the 2 models become obvious right from the start. The impression I got from reading all the threads here on the model differences didn't suggest such a vast difference.
On this dvd, they explained that the suspension geometry was changed. The result was better traction.

J's Racing S2000 was an amazing car, to a degree. They call it an "F22C" although it is their own version. I wonder if it is based on the 2004 U.S. engine. Anyone know? Or did they just increase the stroke on the 2.0L engine. It wasn't amazing in that it did blow up, I think at least partially due to the fact that they raised the redline to 9000, which increases the piston speeds to the equivalent of 10000 RPM on the 2.0L engine. They should have kept its redline at 8400.
On the other hand, on the very first race in the video, the J's highly tuned and gutted machine accelerated just as well as the tuned NSX to achieve lap times at less than 61 seconds at Tsukuba. Pretty amazing. And it cornered better than the NSX's also. I wonder about the 2.2L's potential.

Page 2 of this thread Amuse boy posted up screenshots of the DVD. He has pics of a few cars including the black carbon c-west s2000.
I bought the dvd from 247 motoring but couldn't find those cars anywhere.
Is there another version of this dvd??
