Hey guys,

I'm looking for the Best Motoring video where they compare the AP1 against the AP2 - I believe it's called something like "Battle at 10,000 RPM" or something similar. I did a search, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Anyone know where I can download this?

r u sure?..I have that and it does not have any AP1 vs AP2 scene on it, plus its in japan so they both have the same engine, it wouldnt make sense to compare both

Don't download them. Buy them. They are worth it.
I've purchased from Overstock.com (good price, had a special on shipping), Drifting.com, Best Buy, and Tower Records. Seeing as you are in LA, I hear you can get them at Super Autobacs as well. The best motoring website list other places you can get them.

I really like the one you mentioned: Hot Version: Battle at 10,000 RPM. Rotary Reborn has some nice video of the S2K kicking ass in a comparison test. I think it's Type-R Legends that has Gan San driving the S2K prototype at Nurburgring.

Perhaps that's the wrong episode. Someone was talking about it in a recent thread and mentioned that that was the episode that featured this comparison that I'm trying to see.

Yes, Japan and the rest of the world retained the F20C engine instead of getting the F22C like the US, but like the US, they got the revised suspension etc and hence non-US s2k's are also referred to as AP2s. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. As far as a comparison between the two, I think it would be interesting to see how the new suspension/wheels and tires compares to the old. Although a comparison of the US AP1 and AP2 would be even more fun to watch given the engine changes.

Umm...are you sure you have the right one? It's the test where they compare the MY04 (Tsuchiya), the MY00 (Orido?), and the MC Tuned one (J-boy). Where Tsuchiya wins cuz...he takes the "faster" line...(you'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen it). And while they have a 2.0L, they still have a different suspension set up.

nevermind i see you guys are talking about the Hot version, I had the BMI roaring VTEC battles @ 10k rpm
