Best Gas Mileage

Probably somewhere between 55-65 nets the best gas mileage, but at 70-75 it is worth it to sacrifice a mile or two a gallon to get there at normal speed. I took two trips to austin from houston to pick up my bike and another vehicle in my ls400 last weekend. On the way back the first time I got 25.5mpg w/ cruise at 78, and on the 2nd time I got 27.6mpg w/cruise at 66. Obviously the ls and s2k are not the same cars, but with the S's fairly aggressive 6th gear gearing it should be a similar relationship.
On my 1200cc sportbike, I managed 166 miles on 2.99 gallons of gas going to houston from austin. Rode fully tucked at an average of about 85-90mph. Several 80-120 runs. About 30 mins worth of it was trudging through stop and go traffic in houston as well. Best part of my weekend was seeing that fuel cost looking back at me from the pump.
