bay area s2k pricing ?
hi everyone, i'm currently in the market for a MY03 s2k. I've seen people here paying around invoice for their cars, but i have not found any dealers willing to go 1000 under MSRP. if anyone knows any dealerships in the bay area or davis area with good deals on 03 s2ks, please let me know. thanks in advance.

Davis won't deal with you... because they don't get a lot of business to begin with. You'll have to go to a place that gets more traffic. The Bay Area is a good choice. Try giving San Leandro Honda a call. They were getting two in this week, and just tell them what you are looking for. As long as you state what you want in the beginning, there shouldn't be much haggling going on at all with them.
Btw, the guy I worked with is Jim Hurst... from Internet Sales. If you're straightforward with him and tell him what you want up front, he'll tell you if he can do it or not.
Good luck!!

I just got off the phone with Jim... he said that they are only going to get one (Suzuka Blue) and he said the delivery date has been pushed back a few weeks.
I paid about $32,500 out the door (which includes tax and license fees).
Oh yeah, another thing - Don't let them try and trick you by saying the car is hard to come by, or convince you to pay more because it's the last of the 2003s... Like I said, be straightforward...and if he doesn't seem willing to work with you, there are other dealerships out there.

Thank you minako, I just got off the phone with Jim as well.
He offered 500 dollars over invoice for the suzuki blue coming next week, which is the best offer i have gotten thus far. Though I wish it was a white one. Guess i'll look around a bit.
tks again !
