The battery has been 'sluggish' ever since I got the S2000 back from my dealer after 7 weeks of repair work (Well 5 Days work and 6 weeks wait for parts, Xmas / New Year break etc). Been on some long drives to recharge and it always seemed okayish next day but turned over slowly after 2-3 days. Today after it was garaged on Friday after 20 mile 'toby'(drive just for the fun of it) it was flat as a 'witches t1t!
Hondacare assistance there within 30 mins. of calling them, checked out car for elec drain (lights on etc) okay and charging mechanism, okay, battery is just not holding charge. He pointed out to my wife the battery condition indicator was red (I'm at Work now), it should be green. Dealer are replacing battery under Honda warranty tomorrow, makes me think what excuse they would use for an import and dealers own warranty, which probably wouldn't cover 'consumables like this after 15 months??.
Anyway, check your indicators!

Just curious, do you have the Honda alarm system or some 3rd party security system on the car? I've seen a few posts where fellow owners have had dead batteries after 1 or 2 weeks of storage. All have had alarms
I'm not sure if this fits your situation. It sounds like a dead cell. It's good to hear that Honda is replacing it. You shouldn't have any more problems.
BTW, if you ever come to London, look me up. I haven't seen my car for 1.5 months and I'm going through pretty serious withdrawals

I have an after market alarm, that was fitted 15 months ago when I got the car, no problems with it even when the car had been left some time (6-7 days) last year, the battery seems to have developed its illness after being on the Honda garage floor for 7 weeks. They took it off to avoid it draining when they had the S2000 in for repair.
Zoinks, its mild down there man!

A suggestion: Make sure the dealer puts a full charge into the battery before he puts it in your car. Batteries that are installed only partly charged (and then left to charge in the car) will only reach about 3/4 of their full capability. (I found this out from motorcycles, which have batteries that need all the help they can get, but it also applies to cars.)

Supercharger and high lift race cams, single exit 4.5 inch competition exhaust, 18 inch wheels, lowered suspension, RAM-Air intake, boost valve, oh no that was in my dream last night,
some err... cosmetic repairs after rear end got away from me on public roads.
