Our antenna's a pretty hot item! Everyone wants one from Evo owners to VW owners. I've had mine loctited on since day one.

Using Loctite will only enrage some thieves and result in possible fender damage. It might be better to let the thief have the antennea than risk a more costly repair job.
Replacement is cheap enough so I really don't worry about it.
