Just a small note about gas stations. Dont fill up when they are filling the tanks. When they fill the tanks all the sediments and dirt that collects in the tank stirred up. Also keep an eye out for stations that retain a lot of water or flood when it rains. Which is what it sounds like in your case. If you suspect bad gas you can pump a little out into a clear container and let it sit for awhile. if it separates or developes layers its contaminated the same goes if its cloudy
