Default Bad GAS from shell, Engine problems,....

i visited the shell station @

Jallo Shell Station
32400 US Highway 19 N
Palm Harbor, FL
Phone: (727) 787-2842

on May 11th 2006, and afterwhich car was acting odd.. after fresh starts it was choking up and dieing and i had misfiring on 1 or more cylinders

after driving to honda and pluggin into obd2, CEL thru the misfiring on 1+ cylinders..

so after putting some dry gas in her and refilling @ different station w/ my beloved 3.19/GAL premuim.. shes back to normal.

what i was most surprised with was i called Shell today to just let them know.. in case the owner was not doing proper steps @ that station to clean tanks of water..

and they issued a 28.14$ refund for the gas purchased

and also they said if i had any charges from honda for the checkup/etc or future problems resulting from the bad gas mixture they would refund me those costs as well.

we might bitch about the 3.19/GAL gas but at least their good w/ customer service and paying us back when they mess up

riley

thats why its important to buy gas from big companies. indeed it sucks what happened, the prices may be a bit higher (by 5 cents), but in the long run that have the service and respect to take care of you in a situation like this.

ehhh, u just got lucky....i'm sure most others will tell you to go F yourself and get all defensive saying it was not the gas... the price is not because of customer service...
