Back Window cover

Back Window cover
Hi, I've had my baby for 3 months now and was wondering if all of you put the cover on when the top is down all the time. I live in Vancouver (the land of rain) and so find it a pain to put it on and off as you have to put the top up at the last minute at a traffic light! Is it a bad thing that I don't have it on most of the time?
Part of the problem is that mine's so damn hard to get on and off, I hate fiddling with it for the 10 minutes or so...
Thanks!

I have only put mine on three or four times since I got the car in Oct. '99. In Texas the weather is so unpredictable that you never really know when it's going to rain. You're right, it is a hassle.

I always put the cover on. After a while, it's pretty fast to get the cover on and off, since it loosens up a bit. I think the cover makes the car look better. There's something about seeing the roof all folded up and not covered that makes the car look unfinished.
By the way, I live in So Cal, so it's a little easier for us to get away with always putting the boot cover on. We don't have to worry as much about it raining or the weather changing unpredictably.

If it takes you ten minutes to put the cover on, it means that your roof is not folding properly to expose the snaps on the back of the roll bars.
It took me five months and several visits to the dealer before, one day by magic, my top went down properly.
You should have EASY access to those little snaps. Once you do, it takes a minute or two to install or remove the top.
If there is a bar holding fabric up and covering easy access to the snaps, try refolding the top and "helping" it down with your hand. Try changing the position of any rear window roll.
You'll get it.
I leave my cover on now almost all the time.

I put mine on of I am going to have the top down for a good part of the day out in the sun but if I am going to be stopping places where I want to put the top up, then I just leave it at home. Right now it is so hot that I put the top up when I stop anywhere otherwise the interior is unbearable.

Or I take my daily driver and only drive my S2000 when I can devote myself to it fully.
