I just got a copy of the XACAR magazine September issue courteousy of Hanada san, one of our hosts . There is a 4 page long report on our visit.

Obviously I cannot read it, but it's good enough to just look at the pictures... I'm puzzled however by the english title of "Technique of our guests" just below a picture of the Type V being driven by Steve Semos (I think) and a couple of dropped cones... I just wonder what they're saying .

Just look at the upper left corner of the picture:

Sorry for the bad picture quality. I can try a better shot tomorrow if you're interested.

Luis,
I'm glad you have your magazine. Ours should be arriving any day. I've asked Nao for them to work on an English translation for us. I will be glad to forward you the text file when it arrives.

In the magazine there are also advertsiments for the Tokyo Auto Show on the 11, 12 and 13 of January 2002.

Who is organizing the second visit to coincide with these dates ? We should book flights & accomodation pretty soon, as this is likely to be a crowded period... Should we open a thread on the Meet & Events forum?

Luis,

Thanks for for the heads up on the article. I can't wait until we get our copies. If we don't get a translation from our friends in Japan, I'll have one of the Japanese I work with translate the article for us.

Hope all is well with everyone.

I have undertaken to delete my posts of any content here since the Management here has made this an unfriendly place for me and the club I founded and am President of, the S2000 Club of America, Inc. and they have claimed that my words have somehow become THEIR property and I think that's pretty uncool. If you would like to read whatever post, please contact me at greg@s2kca.com. Thanks
