Back to stock or PSS9?
For the past 2 yrs I have been using the stock suspension on my 05. I think the stock set up is hard to beat for a daily driven car given potholes and other inconsistencies in the road surface. Last week I swapped out the springs for H&Rs. I was looking for a mild drop so as not to upset the handling too far from stock and had a UK spec alignment done. The car feels stiffer with a bit less compliance over road irregularities and the feeling that it is now more prone to oversteer (something I don't like on a street driven car, track is different).
I was hoping to lower the car just a bit and maybe gain something in handling. As you can tell, I prefer the stock set up handling wise. I am near certain that I am either going back to stock versus get a set of PSS9s. I likely will track the car soon, but don't need to go overboard as the car will be mainly street driven. I'd like about a 1 inch drop, but the drop is not as important to me as the handling. Basically what I'm looking for is a 1 inch drop with near stock handling. Any suggestions or insights would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried the Eibach springs? From what I've read about them, they seem to be fairly close to stock with a 1 inch drop.
As far as the PSS9's, I have them and I love them. Of course, the ride is not as great as stock but the handling is comparable. On bad roads, I can feel all the irregularities, which sucks, but the s2000 is already a stiff ride. You can adjust the stiffness for street and track use. IMHO, it's worth the $$$ if you're going to go street and track.
KW's are a step up so I dont know how much you are looking to spend. Your budget is something to consdier.
Try finding someone in your local area with the PSS9's and ask for a ride.

After a week driving with the H&Rs and UK alignment, I've changed my mind. I think the handling is definitely improved. It is more harsh over bumps, but otherwise it is better overall. I think somehow the car may have 'settled' a few days after the spring install.
