Default Back of seat squeaks against plastic?

My seat sits right against the rear of the cockpit, and i can hear it squeaking and stuff as I drive. Any suggestions?

No suggestions, besides adjusting the seat forward...

Sorry.

If I weren't lazy I'd try putting a terry towel there or something similar.. but then again that's a shitty fix anyway. I just move the seat forward. :-/

Attach some weather stripping to the areas of contact. Use 3m tape for the contact points. That should resolve the noise.

Ice,

Are you SURE it's the seat squeeking? Many here have found that the seatbelt rubs the leather right near the shoulder making a very annoying squeek the entire drive. The only solution is to cover the seatbelt or seat at that point. It happens when the seatbelt moves in VERY tiny amounts against the seat.

Mine does the same thing. U need to move the seat all the way back and then forward one notch.

Silicone spray? (Will that damage leather or vinyl?)

Well placed felt did the job for me - my seat's all the way back, squeaked like hell, felt works just fine.

I'll double check that it's the seat and not the seatbelt
