the headlights are brilliant the way they are. maybe bixenon would be nice, but unneccesary.
Ugh, bi-xenon.. Like these things aren't expensive enough...

I love the HID low-beam, halogen high beam. I only wish that when I flicked my high-beams (with the lights off) it didn't power up the HID... Bad for the life of the tube.

The auto-leveling is mandatory on Xenon headlights in the Netherlands.
As mentioned its not fast enough to level out bumps.
The bright white lights always make me think of Christine when she is out to Kill

Naah..

I don't think we'll see it here in our S, unless the law requires it anyway.

Some cars in the US have a HID level adjustment dial, such as the EVO and Mazda 3.

Mike, are you finding that much deflection with the trailer hitch attached to your trailer?
Not just the hitch -- the trailer itself. The tongue weight of the trailer is like tossing weight in the trunk, only worse because it is located farther back on the car.

The flickering I don't mind. It is going down rolling hills that bothers me. With the sharp cut-off of our headlamps and the downward angle, the field of illumination gets very short in front of our cars where decline changes to incline (and swithching to brights gets to be a PITA). Pissing off oncoming traffic is less of a concern, at least for me.

I would love adjustable hids in our car. Some times on very hilly roads its hard to see oncoming traffic.

Hmmm... Are you relying on your headlights to see oncoming traffic? Shouldn't the oncoming traffic also have their headlights on (so you can see them)?

Maybe he means the 4-legged variety.
