Default Auto down window?

Wasn't sure what section to post in. But anyway, I just bought my 01' S2k. The auto down window switch for the drivers window does not work. The window does roll down but not by itself. i tried programming it by holding it down for 15 sec and pulling it up for 15 sec. It will work after that but after I turn the car off and start it back up it won't work again. Also, when I drop the top ther drivers window only drops a little bit not all the way like the passenger window. I am not sure if it is the the module for the window is bad or what? Any ideas??

LOL, my driver's window rolls down really fast, by the time auto kicks in, it's already down like 1/3 of the way. This feature works better with bigger windows.

I think that the window control unit is known to fail on older models sometimes.
I cant remember exactly but you might try searching through the TSBs.

You need a new window relay, this is a common problem on the earlier models

Does passenger side have auto-down controlled through driver side switch? Or is it just driver side only?
