Most of the time tactiles are poorly installed and are played too loud for the best effect.

I've contemplated doing something like this for the home theater, but I'd rather save up for a new SVS sub. I've got only an 8" Sub now and that will (much to my dismay) rattle our sliding kitchen pantry doors which annoys the hell out of me. I'd hate to add something else who's sole purpose is to rattle stuff!

E30M3 - great forum huh? They've gotten me to spend SOOOOO much more money than I ever would have on home theater.
