Looks like as many opinions as there are people to post! Guess it depends on your driving style. I find that I like to have a good amount of oomph without down-shifting, so that has brought me to tooling around at higher revs. Maybe its the amount of traffic around here - if there wasn't so much, I could see running in lower rpms.

As for the sound at 5krpm, that's when the comptech exhaust starts sounding really sweet

I love this car because if you are a lazy shifter...you can keep it in gear forever.

I like to shift around 4 during regular driving.

I like to drive around town in first gear at about 8.5k.
It makes my neighbors think I'm speeding by with reckless abandon when in fact I'm only going 35mph!
