Can you please tell me what gear you are referring to? My spreadsheet doesn't take into account that gear. If there is such a gear, then it needs to be accounted for.

your all high. LOL. 157 is where it hits the limiter. done deal, argue all you want, this makes it obvious none of you are either making the power, or are willing to push it that far. ive done it so many times i stopped counting. boyracers2k has also done it, he hit 156 and was flickering, couldnt go any futher. i can slam the limiter at 157 and the car bucks LOL.

You are forgetting THE most important point in all your calculations. All S2000s have this little thing called a "secondary gear reduction". On the AP2, it is "1.206". On the AP1, it is 1.16.
I don't think anyone has to "validate" your parameters. This has been done in that link I put up. If you now use that reduction number, you will finally get what that gear calculator link has been telling us for years.

Also, you are saying that people's experiences with topping out are null because of the fact there is drag. This wouldn't be true, as drag would be a factor into limiting your vehicle from reaching a certain speed (i.e. not being able to climb past 7k RPMs in 6th gear). 8K RPMs would be the same driving as it would anywhere else, whether it be jacked up, gear calculator, etc. (except, of course, if you're losing traction).

I don't believe you. You have something missing from your calculations. I'll let you figure out what it is.
I'll give you a hint:
http://www.turnzero.com/technical_resource...gear_calculator
The top speed (geared or otherwise) of an AP2 is 151 mph.
Those ain't it.
The spreadsheet you posted are wrong.
ps. Not sure why you went to the trouble of doing these calculations (wrong as they may be) since this has been done correctly a long time ago.
