ap2 hks exhaust rubber hanger
about to install hks exhaust for my 05 s2000. hks came with rubber hangers. from searching thru previous posts, oem rubber hangers were used in the process of install. my question is... what is the purpose of hks rubber hangers?

IIRC, the HKS comes with three hangers, one for the front resonator hook and one each for the front hooks on the cans. You use the stock 3-hole hangers for the rear hooks on the cans. To get proper spacing/hang, you need to use the the two holes in the rear hangers (OEM) that are the furthest apart. If you use the holes with closer spacing the tips will be way too high and nearly touching the tops of the cutouts in the valance.
