ap2 front lip rubber gasket/molding?
recently i purchased and installed my oem front lip spoiler for my 05 s2000. one thing i have noticed is that it didnt come with rubber gasket/molding that i have seen on other s2ks with oem lip. i checked the manual and its not included. anybody having the same issue???

well just talk to cheaphondaparts.com. according to them, rubber molding is not included in the package just because honda's instruction does not mention anything about it. however they ordered another one just to see whether or not it has it.
question for members!!!
is rubber molding/gasket... whatever you call it... attached to front lip spoiler right out the box? or is it buried somewhere in the box and needs to be attached? please reply!!! thanks!!!

I dunno dude. Is that company a honda dealership? Is the front lip really an oem honda part? It's been like a year since Installed mine, but the lip has a honda sticker to the inside doesn't it? If its not oem from honda, I would assume they just produce front lips without gasket.

Bought my lip about a month ago and it came ATTATCHED to the spoiler. Like it already glued to the spoiler.

Mine came attatched on as well. I'm thinking maybe it's not an oem front lip. Send it back and go with one of the guys listed above. I got mine from HandA, 408 bucks shipped. Great guys to do business with.

i would take a picture of mine, but it was removed and impossible to reinstall after i had it repainted. it comes already pre attached to the lip and once you remove it it can't be reattached. the color on my gpw was a greyish.
hope the helps.

Here you go:
Click on the image below for Super Duper Large Version of this picture. You can see the grey rubber gasket all along the top of the OEM Lip.
And yes, the gasket is already attached to the lip right out of the box.
