Default AP2 Dust Cover

Tonight it snowed a bit and I was just curious to see if any of you have had every tried putting your dust cover on your car. Along with a shitty Walt-mart car cover? Its made of poly/cotton, so if you think about it... it should actually keep the moisture off of your car. Suggestions?

All car covers are breathable, so you'll only stop water to a point. It'll eventually get through, especially if it's melting snow we're talking about.

I used to cover my Prelude in college because it would sit for a couple weeks at a time. Having the cover on in the rain was a mess because it would get heavy and waterlogged. You had to wait for the car to dry before taking it anywhere unless you had somewhere to lay the cover out inside.

They're good for protecting your car, but they're not gonna keep it dry.

Thanks, you said what I was pretty much thinking. I'll keep it for the dust.

If the walmart cover is made for outdoor then yes do it. The dust cover is good for protecting the car against the shitty walmart cover. while the walmart cover will generally keep the car dry. I had a setup like this for 3 years.

One night after I bought the shitty Walmart cover I decided to use it one because it was suppose to rain. I woke up the next morning and took off the shitty Walmart cover. Needless to say my car was soaking wet and there were little rain puddles on my truck still.. Idk if its worth it to use the dust cover under it. Plus it might mold after awhile.
