ap2 to ap1
i guess this is odd...? lol
but i actually prefer the look of the ap1 headlights and taillights better than the ap2's.
is a ap2 to ap1 headlight taillight conversion possible??
i read that to do a ap1 to ap2 headlight conversion you had to make room cuz the ap2 headlights are bigger?
so does that mean if i did the other way around, the ap1 headlights will be too small to fit in the ap2?
how about the taillights? are they the same size?
any help would be appreciated.

hmm I don't understand why you would need to make room. There is no cutting or anything required. The only thing I am aware for the headlights is that the ballast are different and retro fitting them is a bit of a PITA, so I've read. The tailight housing needs to be cut on the AP1 to fit AP2 lights. However to go the other way around I would think it would be much easier. Also I am sure there would be no shortage of people willing to get your headlights and taillights. I haven't done this myself because I do like the Ap1 lights. Somebody feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I have done AP1 taillight conversion to AP2 and AP2 taillight to AP1. It definately easier to swap AP1 taillight into AP2 car and it requires less metal cutting. With the right jig saw, it really is a quick and easy job.
