Thumbs down AP2=300 b.h.p. Doable?

Here is my question. Assuming you had the money could you build the 2.2L mill to produce 300bhp normally aspirated with the following mods, AND be streetable.

Remember I am not talking RWHP I realize this is a different ball park. Here is a following list.

Forged pistons Wiseco or other
Comprehensive head work
Intake work porting and matching
Machined throttle body
Cunningham Forged Titanium Rods (wanted to use all caps for that one)
Knife edged crank
12.0 to 1 compression
Custom ECU ALA AEM or the like
Intake
Mugen 2.2L Header
J's Dual Ti Exhaust
High Flow Cat
Cams
9000RPM

How close would that get me

This is just a what if fun topic (for some) please don't flame for typing out loud.

Don't even think about running all of that with California's impressive 91 octane gas.

I think very possible

with

j's exhaust, j's header, j's intake, ems, and ITB you should be in the 240-250 WHP range. Stroke that bitch out to a 2.4 or 2.5 and 260-280 WHP is possible.

i cant really figure out why people want to spend so much money on a NA vehicle...if you want HP just go FI there are people out there that have put over 100k mi on superchargers before and never had issues...and that gets you 300 whp...and is street legal as well as carb legal for the amount of money and js header exhaust and intake will get...and with that you will only get like 10 hp

Not possible. Well, anything is with a lot of money but this would take so much money, that it would be cheaper to buy a ferrari. I would imagine the most you'd see out of a fully tuned 2.2 would be 250 to the wheels and that's with crazy money work done to it. Just get a s/c and be done with it if you really want 300hp. Comptech is reliable and the power curve really compliments what the car already has.
