What are some of the primary performance features the S2000 AP1 offers that the AP2 doesn't - and vice versa?

I've heard the AP2 has better suspension, and that both cars weigh about the same - but which do you think would win out in a race?

Let me just jump to the end- my color is the fastest.
This question has been asked and not answered millions of times in the internet...you'd be better off doing a search and forming your own opinion rather than forcing the same thread to happen again and again.

Well, this question has been asked a Million times, but I wont say go USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.. Ill just explain my .02.Even though it's a drivers race. First the AP1 is slightly lighter with a smaller wheel base, and longer gear ratio. It also has 9-11 less torque. The power out put is also somewhat less than the Ap2 due to the fact, that Honda themselves made the Ap2 slightly more efficient. MY OPINION and facts that I have concluded is this:
stoplight to stoplight(or 0-60)
Ap2 should win, more torque, better power band, shorter gears. Once again it's pretty much a drivers race though.
Autocross
This is a complete toss up, people have actually been able to pull MORE from the AP1, it has a better steering ratio, and higher revs allows less shifts, and those difficult points of whether to shift, or ride out the gear comes into play.
All in all, they are so very similar its tough to say. Ap2 is more refined, and has more options(traction control), but the Ap1 is more RAW, and feels like a bit more of an experience to drive. So you choose. Oh yeah, this is coming from a person who is partial to a AP1.

The AP1 has a plastic door for the cdplayer and a plastic window (barring ap1.5), the AP2 has a metal one and glass window. Plastic is lighter therefore the AP1 will always win, in any race, all the time, everywhere.
