If you are talking about which one is faster, styled better, or has less faults, you are splitting hairs but if you are talking about which one put the car above the pack it has to be AP1 and we all know why. Making a mass production car designed to hit 9000 rpms was worthy of worldwide news and thousands of media words were written about it. No amount of compromise on the car's attributes by either side can change that. 
I'm getting fed up with it too, along with the 06 trash talk. I swear I think some people are in kindergarten still.

Thanks Wisconsin. I haven't been here that long and I'm really tired of it too. Funny how your perception of "who started it" seems to vary by which model you own. I could swear it is always the AP1 owners who start the rhetoric then the AP2 owners just respond because they feel attacked. I'll bet I'd perceive it as the opposite if I owned an AP1.
Oh and Luke, the subject of why the NA market got the 2.2 has also been beaten to death. The search does work (usually) if you know how to use it (instructions in SITE INFO forum under the HOW TO USE SEARCH DISCUSSION topic). If were aware of how to use search in this forum, and still got no results then, well, sorry, things will probably get better with the new software coming.
And to all: how about we just quit doing it -- even though you are joking (what ever happened to JoeKing BTW), it always brings a response and gets the argument started again even though you posted your AP's superiority with a smiley.
