I did 2 separate 360's and then finally slide off into a ditch, all on a highly travelled "back road".

2001 S4 in New Jersey? I'm more than a little surprised your S4 is still on the roads (under your control, anyway, given how quickly S4s tend to get stolen in NJ...)

Yep, I am getting the LM-22s next week. I hear that the Blizzak WS-50's are sold out in S2K sizes across the US. Sold the Prelude. I'll have to fix my sig below. Had 15" Honda OEM rims w/ Blizzak WS-50's on the winter Lude. Man that car w/snow tires was better in snow than my brother's WRX.

I haven't done a 360 but 180 instead and there wasn't even snow on the ground. The S02 are not very grippy in cold weather, even the LM Blizzaks seems to have more grip in the morning when it is at or below freezing temps.

The WS-50s are really soft compared to the LMs. The WS would work better in the snow for sure but the LMs handle and will last longer if there are dry spells in winter.

Just to give you an idea of the responsiveness of the S02s compared to the Blizzaks, the S02s felt like I was driving a go kart and the LM Blizzaks makes me feel like I was driving my Prelude with the Bridgestone RE92s again.
