Default Anyone use APC LED bulbs for their sidemarkers?

Specifically for those with cleared headlights, has anyone used these before?

Any quality/durability/compatibility issues with these bulbs?

I think Rick Hesel has played with LED for side markers. Don't know if they were APC though.

ACK... my subject header is wrong! It should actually read:

Anyone use APC LED bulbs for their turn signal lights

Specifically as a 7440 replacement bulb!

You mean like this?

I have a set, but it make shte flashers blink fast. I believe it's draws too small of a load and the flasher doesn't think there is a bulb in place.

Thanks for the post Kwando, that's exactly what I was looking for. How is it for brightness? Do you think those bulbs are worth it, despite the fact that it blinks fast?

Thanks Airgate. My bad for not proof-reading my own subject header.

Actually, I was inspired by your original thread on those led sidemarker bulbs some time ago. I ended up getting PIAA Super LED's for both the side markers and the running lights a little while ago. They're AWESOME. In particular, the running lights are more noticable than the HID's! without being blinding ofcourse.

If you view my photoalbum you will see the LED illuminated. Brightness you can't really tell because the HID's are so bright. In the day time it's hard to tell.
