Steve, thanks for the additional clues.
I'm planning to try the seat lowering adjustment because I just think I sit too high in the car.

When I do the seat lowering it should be easy to do the bottom swap.

I am really happy with the results of this 30 min. job.

The seat bottoms are symetrical and I had forgtten what the seats felt like new. Really a drastic improvement visually and comfort-wise.

I wish the seat backs could be swapped, but the seatbelt holder is in the way.

BTW I was not happy with the way the above seat lowering felt while driving. It put me midways between using the window sill as a arm rest and the door armrest. After returning to the factory height I am much more comfortable, but I'm only 5'10'' or so anyways.

A cheapnway to get new life from your old seats...

Seat Lowering directions

Halfway down this page is the directions for lowering your seat, which are also good for swapping seats. THey show also why the seat lever is not a problem for doing this..
