Anyone trade seats to get better wear???
I am thinking of trading the front passenger and driver seats to reverse the wear patterns on the seat.
I am fairly unhappy with the amount of wear at only 23K miles. Since about 10K there has been marked wear. Is this standard wear and tear or is it a warranty issue and would changing my seats around void any Factory liability??
I know that removing the seat sections is necessary so just swapping seats is not the only step in this trade.
I'm planning on doing this today so I'll let everyone know the process and the results shortly...

Thanks, if this can be done without too much hassle I'd consider doing it too. I usually drive alone so my drivers seat is wearing significantly faster than the passenger side.

I am not a fan of leather seats. I sat in a Honda Insight a couple of weeks ago and thought the seats were great. Does anyone know if the Insight seats will fit the S2000 or not ?

So the bottom is side specific because of adjustments and the backs are side specific because of the seatbelt holder.
So just how does one swap seats?
Pull all the leather off and swap that?

Yes, they appear to me to be identical. I have put another 4,000 miles on the car since I made the swap and the seats seem to be working fine and they look much better. The outside of the old drivers cushion is actually a bit hidden on the inside of the passenger side and the trans. tunnel actually bolsters the part that was beginning to sag. I would highly recommend this switch.
